Stone_rabbit Story#04「Earth and rabbit（地球とうさぎ）」

The next time the rabbit woke up, it was still at the bottom of the sea. The usual moon pearl oyster by my side. There was also a mysterious tree that had been nearby before. However…….

"Huh? There are no leaves."

The trees were completely withered and glowing white.

"Look. The cherry blossoms are dancing again."

Someone told me that there was a cherry blossom storm ahead of me when I looked up. Unlike before, there was also a blue earth.

"The moon and the earth met"

The rabbit felt very sad about that encounter. And I wondered.

"If you can see the earth, isn't this the earth?"

What the rabbit noticed may have been something he shouldn't have noticed. The usual someone answered quietly.

"You are dead."

Oh……. Oh, that makes me want to cry so much. That's why I always wanted to cry like that. 'Cause I've left everyone I love Because I won't be able to see everyone I love anymore.

This time the rabbit quietly spilled tears. The many tears that spilled quietly disappeared into the sea.

うさぎが次に目を覚ましたとき、やっぱりそこは海の底でした。 そばにはいつもの月の真珠貝。 この前そばにいた不思議な木もありました。 だけど……。

「あれ？　葉っぱがない」

木はすっかり枯れていて、真っ白く光っていました。

「ごらん。また桜が舞っているよ」

誰かに言われて、見上げた先に桜吹雪がありました。 前と違って、青い地球もおりました。

「月と地球は出逢えたんだね」

その出逢いを、うさぎはなんだかとても哀しく思いました。 そして、不思議に思いました。

「地球が見えているなら、ここは地球じゃないの？」

うさぎか気づいたことは、気づいてはいけないことだったのかもしれません。 いつもの誰かが静かに答えました。

「きみはね、死んでしまったんだよ」

ああ……。 ああ、それでこんなに泣きたくなるんだ。 だからいつもあんなに泣きたくなっていたんだ。 愛しいみんなを置いてきてしまったから。 愛しいみんなにもう会えないから──。

今度こそうさぎは、しずかにぽろぽろと涙をこぼしました。 たくさんこぼれた涙は、しずかに海に消えていきました。
