For my regret, I don't have an English text of this story. So I 'd like to show the simple synopsis in English.  There may be some errors in this text, I would be happy if you tell me the correct one.

Title: Odysseia in Sixteenth century

◆SUMMERY

Early in 16th century, Cesare Borgia, the son of Pope Alexander VI, continued to advance with the aim of reviving the ancient Roman Empire. However, soon after the death of the Pope, the ambition was broken. Cesare was expelled to Spain. 

This is the story about a long long journey over a century,  that people chains connect.

This is the fiction story based on historical facts.


◆Chapter1　Cesare Borgia, duca di Valentino

Cesare Borgia. He was appointed a cardinal at his young age, after his father elected to the Pope. His aim was the revival of the ancient Roman Empire. Then he resigned from the cardinals and became the Papal Army commander. He began to advance into Central Italy. But as soon as  father pope died of sickness. He was under arrest and expelled to Spain. The story describes Cesare's days in Spain.


◆Chapter2　Francisco de Xavier in the West

Francisco de Xavier was born in Xavier, Kingdom of Navarre at 1506. His father was Minister of the kingdom. There was a strange man like Cyclops in the castle and taught Latin to Francisco. But Happy time did not last. The kingdom was annexed to Spain and his castle was destroyed. Afterwards, Francisco enrolled  the Collage Saint Barbe, University of Paris to become a priest of Pamplona, the capital of Navarre. In the college dormitory,  he met two colleagues. Then, his direction of life changed drastically. The story describes the  foundation of Jesuits and Francisco's departure from Portugal.


◆Chapter3　Nicolás Corella（Fictional character）1

The faithful vassal of Cesare Borgia, Michele da Coreglia. He believed that Cesare was alive. Michele invited by Niccolò Machiavelli as the commander of the Citizen army, and moved to Florence（Firenze） 1507. Then he fell in love with the blacksmith 's daughter Zorra. The lovers eloped out. However, the assassin killed Michele in Milan. Zorra gave her baby at Estense Castle where Lucrezia Borgia lived. Lucrezia is Cesare's younger sister. The story describes childhood of the baby named Nicolás, and Cambrai alliance war.


◆Chapter4　Nicolás Corella（Fictional charactor）2

Zorra and Nicolás decided to be back to Florence（Firenze）. Nicolás was good at painting, so he became a disciple of Michelangelo Buonarroti, who met at the famous Sculpture of David. On the other hand, Zorra's best friend, Margarita Luti　was confused by the intense love of the painter Raffaello Santi. 
The story describes childhood period of Nicolás, and how the two great artists faced to their art and creation sincerely.


◆Chapter5　Nicolás Corella（Fictional charactor）3

Nicolás bagan to work at the art workshop of Tiziano Vecellio by Michelangelo's introduction. In Venice（ Venezia ）, he got acquainted with young girl, Laura Piaggio, and then got married. But Nicolás was worried about his mother Zorra. She remarried with the merchant, and went to Spain. But there was no reply from her. Francisco Borja of Gandia, who succeeded the blood of  Borgia family. With his help, Nicholas could grab the whereabouts of Zorra. Nicolás went to Lisbon, Portugal to bring his mother back. 
Meanwhile, Francisco Borja had been serving  Holy Roman Emperor Karl V. And though his position was very very honorable, Francisco had been never satisfied. He kept considering about his way of life.
The story describes until the reunion of Nicolás and Zorra and so on.


◆Chapter6　Francisco de Xavier in the East
