Hisao Urushibara has only one goal in college: stay normal. No weirdness. No attention. And absolutely no one finding out about the painfully embarrassing “dark hero” fantasies he used to take way too seriously. Then a visitor from a hyper-advanced civilization crashes into his life and destroys any hope of normalcy. To this bizarre newcomer, common sense is optional, social rules are negotiable, and impossible technology is something you casually use to solve completely ordinary problems—usually making everything much, much worse. What follows is a chaotic comedy of survival as Hisao gets dragged into increasingly ridiculous situations: bizarre misunderstandings, absurd alien logic, occasional brushes with space civilizations, fantasy-world nonsense, and problems no sane college student should ever have to deal with.
