　高校3年生で別れた1組の恋人。 　4年の月日が経って、もう彼のことは忘れ去れたと思っていた。大学4年の春、就活の場で綾乃(綾乃)は高校の時の彼を偶然見かけてしまう。 　もう恋愛感情は無くてもお互いの4年を知ってみたい。 　でも本当に好きだったから、深入りするのは怖い。きっと良くないことになってしまう。また苦しい思いをするかもしれない。本当にもう好きじゃないのかなんて分からなくなって、気づけば本当はまだ好きなんじゃないかなんて風に少しだけ思ってしまうはず。 　高校生の時、身勝手な事情で大好きな彼女を諦めた守人(もりと)。彼女には非がなく、一切がこっちの都合だった。そんな引け目は、4年間の沈黙を作った。もし会っても許してもらえるわけではない。許されても戻れるわけではない。終わった縁はもう戻らない。言い聞かせて言い聞かせて、やっと自分の頭から追い出した。 　就活の二次面接、その元彼女が同じ会場にいるのを見つけてしまう。心臓が跳ねている。もう好かれなくても構わない。そんな風に願える立場ではない。それでも今の彼女はどんな風か、知りたい気持ちが止まるわけない。 綾乃目線→守人目線→綾乃目線・・・ を繰り返して進みます。
